Glasgow Development Plans Speakers
Patrick Flynn, Head of Housing & Regeneration Services; Glasgow City Council
Patrick Flynn joined Glasgow District Council as a housing officer in 1981. He joined Scottish Homes in 1991 and subsequently held a number of senior positions in that organisation and then in Communities Scotland and the Scottish Government. He re-joined Glasgow City Council in April 2011 and is the Head of Housing and Regeneration Services.
Chris Breslin, Head of Regeneration & Development; Scottish Canals
Mark Robinson, Director; Kier Property
Mark has over 15 years experience in acquisition and development within the industrial, office, in-town retail and mixed use sectors.
Mark rejoined Kier Property in January 2012 as an Associate Director having worked with the business up to 2004. He is responsible for the securing and delivery of a range of development opportunities.
Mark has experience in the acquisition of land, promotion through the planning process, delivering on site, letting and managing the completed development.
One of Mark’s projects saw the redevelopment of a former water works where a treatment plant and reservoir were removed, development plateaus created and the new accommodation built in its place.
Another saw the regeneration of a former quarry to create new commercial accommodation which was partly built speculatively and partly bespoke for known occupiers.
