Coventry City Council look set to approve plans for over 700 new apartments on the edge of the city centre, after the scheme was recommended for approval.

The project is being brought forward by Complex Development Projects (CDP) who’ll be discussing the project alongside Coventry City Council at our upcoming Coventry Development Plans Event.

CDP acquired the 5.5-acre site in 2017, a site which both the West Midlands Combined Authority and Coventry City Council have been keen to regenerate. The plans include: [emaillocker id=”71749″]

  • 731 homes in total
  • Mixture of one and two-bedroom apartments
  • Seven blocks ranging from four to 22 storeys in heights
  • 195 car parking spaces

The planning committee meet Thursday (12th November) to decide on the project.

A council document published ahead of the meeting said: “The application raises a number of issues, but on balance the proposed development is considered to be acceptable in principle and will not result in any significant impact upon neighbour amenity, highway safety or infrastructure, subject to relevant conditions and contributions.”
