Greater South East Energy Hub – Retrofit Supply Chain: A Call to Arms
Tuesday, 23rd March 2021 0900hrs – 1400hrs
The housing retrofit programme is the biggest infrastructure programme that the UK has ever seen. Local authorities and developers have to find a way to decarbonise 25 million homes by 2050- a staggering 833,000 per year- at a total cost of between £400bn and £1000bn.
The Greater South East Energy Hub and Built Environment Networking are coming together to help procure a spate of capital works in relation to retrofit over the coming year. Starting with £69m worth of energy efficiency projects that need to be completed by the end of 2021 and looking towards ten times that amount in the coming five years.
Our event will launch a series of frameworks and procurement processes for the above schemes and the team at Greater South East Energy Hub are keen to meet contractors, SME’s, builders, advisors, consultants and assessors who can assist them with their carbon neutral goals. They want to meet regional and national organisations who can keenly contribute to meeting their targets.
Aside from being able to communicate directly with the project leads and hear about the work on offer, delegates will be given the opportunity to attend several clinics to help their organisations gain accreditation to PAS 2030 and PAS2035 standards, understand the Trustmark process and apply for grants which can be used to help your business develop.
This event is a unique forum for winning work and creating a lasting relationship for business development opportunities totalling billions of pounds; don’t miss it!
