I have witnessed the expansion of the Lettings Business to the tight team it now in offering landlord and tenant support and have been part of the ever-growing sales and Investment team.”In May 2021 ERE Property launched a new website and completely rebranded, the business has significantly grown over the years with offices now located in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, and Hong Kong.Robert Medd Co-Owner say “When Tim and I set out on our adventure together in 2004 and established ERE we had a £250 website we wrote ourselves, for the first 3 weeks we didn’t even realise we’d made a spelling mistake and it looked like we were selling properties in Buglaria! We had a huge laptop and a mobile phone, no money but our hearts were full of ambition and drive, which we still have today. Tim had a successful recruitment business with offices in Leeds and in the early days I didn’t even have a desk, I sat at the end of Tim’s in his recruitment office. One day I noticed their stationery cupboard was just about big enough to squeeze a desk in if we took the stationery out. that became my first office in the cupboard! I had a friend with a sign making business who knocked up a sign which I drilled to the wall.We put an advert in The FT and The Times and people came to see us. We said we’ve been in business 2 weeks and that we’d put everything into ERE and both bought apartments in the development we were selling, clients liked that and took a leap of faith with us. 17 years later we are immensely proud of our staff and our achievements. We have a huge office in Leeds with 30 staff, an office in Hong Kong where I now live, and an office in Manchester and Liverpool.We have a successful rental business, great people and a bright and successful future, here’s to the next 17 years.”One of the important aspects of a property investment company is ensuring that the developments they sell meet the set expectations that are needed to make a reliable property investment. So we decided to open our own Property Management business, offering the clients the full security of knowing their investment was in safe hands and hassle free.”Lewis Dudson, Lettings Finance Team Leader, who has been with ERE for three years has seen the business grow immensely. Lewis says “From joining the company as an apprentice back in June 2018, I have been present through many changes and the restructuring of ERE to where the company stands today. We have recruited more staff, sought after higher-grade developments, implemented training programmes, and reviewed our systems and processes to say the least. I feel incredibly lucky for the opportunity that ERE offered me when leaving university and feel even more proud to be a part of the very same team that is striving year on year to deliver great property investment opportunities.
