Future Development Plans – Hounslow

This webinar will focus on the development activity in Hounslow as the council look to drive investment, regeneration and inclusive growth.

Hounslow is set to see huge change in the coming years; with huge infrastructure projects such as Heathrow’s expansion and Crossrail set to vastly benefit the borough, and numerous major regeneration and development projects will therefore come forward – which will be the topic of conversation in this webinar.

Hounslow also has a huge job on when it comes to housing. As well as renovating and improving the housing stock, the borough must build 5,000 new affordable homes by 2022 to meet its pledge, including 3,000 for social rent and 2,000 for shared ownership. As well as these homes, to meet targets Hounslow must build 1,000 new council houses by March 2022.

We’ll be hearing more about the major development activity taking place, with the Council outlining their ambitious vision and several key developers sharing intel on how they’ll be playing their part.

• London Borough of Hounslow – will be revealing more details about their development which will run into the billions of pounds and will include thousands of affordable homes as well as homes for social rent and shared ownership. Niall will give us more details on these essential housing projects and give us insight into future development in the borough, driven by the likes of Heathrow’s expansion, Crossrail and Transport for London.

• Barratt London – are already developing a game changing scheme in Hounslow with their High Street Quarter development which will see a multiplex, new shops, restaurants and 500 new homes built. Martin will give more intel on what Barratt London’s next developments will be in Hounslow and how to get involved in the schemes.

• L&Q Group – Jacqueline is part of the L&Q division responsible for the delivery of 100,000 quality new homes over the next 10 years.  She leads the Acquisitions, Land and Planning team covering North and West London and has secured a pipeline in excess of 3,000 new homes since taking up her role. Jacqueline will give more intel on L&Q’s plans for development in the London Borough of Hounslow.
