University of Lincoln – The University of Lincoln have been actively upgrading their estates over the past few years with the latest development being their new £5.1 million Advanced Engineering Research and Development facility called ‘The Bridge’, which will be located alongside the Lincoln Science and Innovation Park and house £1.2 million worth of equipment in specialist laboratories. This includes advanced electron and atomic force microscopes, as well as surface analysis and thermo-mechanical instrumentation. Professor Neal Juster has just started in post as Vice Chancellor and will join the session to discuss his vision for the university over the coming years and the its importance to retaining talent and skills in the region, as well as discussing future estates development plans.
