Clúid Housing – Fiona Cormican, New Business Director Clúid Housing is an award winning, not-for-profit, that has grown to become the largest approved housing body (AHB) in Ireland, providing over 8,000 affordable, high-quality homes to people in need of housing. The housing body have an ambitious growth strategy to deliver an additional 3,000 homes by the end of 2022. Clúid recently entered into a financing agreement with Legal and General providing a long-term €54 million, becoming the first AHB to secure a financing agreement of this size with an international institutional asset manager. Under the agreement Clúid are to deliver 200 new social homes. Falcon Real Estate Developments – Robert Cass, Director Falcon Real Estate Developments are the developers behind the huge Waterford North Quays Strategic Development Zone which will be central to unlocking the potential of the communities of Waterford and the South East of Ireland. As development director, Rob will be able to share further insight into the £500m development which will create up to 3,000 jobs in the construction and a further 4,500 jobs indirectly in the community. Limerick Twenty Thirty – David Conway, Chief Executive Officer With the city of Limerick already experiencing record levels of inward investment, Limerick Twenty Thirty is the largest investment programme in the country outside of Dublin. David will be able to share insight into the future development plans for the city, alongside how the €1 Billion investment will act as anchors for enterprise and investment development into Limerick. Greystar Ireland – Claire Solon, Managing Director As a global leader in rental housing, Greystar are leaders in the property development sector. Claire will be able to shed light on the work they are currently doing across The Republic of Ireland such as the Dublin Landings development, alongside future development plans for the region and how these will affect the area positively. Cork City Council – Fearghal Reidy, Director of Services Cork City Council has recently unveiled plans for the first phase of a €46 million public realm project in advance of the construction of a €80 million event centre. The first phase of the project will see one of the most historic parts of the city redeveloped through a €10 million to €15million investment as a part of the overall €46 million public realm investment for the city. Wexford County Council – Tom Enright, Chief Executive Trinity Wharf has been described as one of the most significant milestones in the history of Wexford’s economic development, with plans for modern office space, hotel accommodation, a multi-storey car park, a landmark cultural and events building, 60 residential units, a 61 berth marina and a new boardwalk linking Trinity Wharf to Paul Quay and the Crescent in the pipeline. The first phase will create up to 2,000 new jobs, with the whole project set to cost over €120m. Land Development Agency – Phelim O’Neill, Head of Property The Land Development Agency is a commercial, state sponsored body that has been created to coordinate land within State control for more optimal uses where appropriate, with a focus on the provision of housing. With over €1.25 billion of capital earmarked by the government for the LDA, there are multiple projects in the pipeline.
