The council are currently working on two major redevelopment schemes, featuring a £61m Market Street Redevelopment and the London Road Industrial Estate regeneration scheme that has the potential for 280 homes and just under 9,000m of commercial and office space. Lincoln Property Company – Lincoln Property Company are set to add further homes to their Station Hill development, with 1,200 homes and 10,000 sq ft of lifestyle-led retail and leisure. The development is set to cost around £60m and will also feature 600,000 sq ft of office space part of their initial plans. The Really Local Group – The Really Local Group creates and restores cultural infrastructure through the regeneration and renewal of the UK’s High Streets. They recently signed a deal signed a deal to transform a 14,000 sq ft space in Reading’s Broad Street Mall into an independent cinema, music and events centre named Reading Biscuit Factory and are keen to share details of their project and company ambition with our audience. Gladman Developments – Gladman is one of the UK’s most active and successful land promoters, with over 30 years in the development industry. The developer have a number of planned projects under review across the Thames Valley region, including a £25m, 250-home development on Shrivenham Road in Highworth. Sorbon Estates – Soborn Estates acquire, invest in, and develop commercial property within the south-east. With a multimillion pound portfolio of assets, almost 1300 businesses and families live or work in their properties. Recently the commercial property group have acquired a number of properties within West Street, Maidenhead as a part of a plan to regenerate that area of the Maidenhead town centre. They’re currently delivering over 100 new homes within that plan with a brand new apartment block at 106 to 144 High Street.
