Gleeson homes

Gleeson Homes has announced an increase in sales in the first half of its financial year – up more than 17% – whilst announcing plans to accelerate the number of new homes they build.

The firm – who’ll be speaking at the East Midlands Development Plans Event – are aiming to develop 2,000 homes a year by June 2022. [emaillocker id=”71749″]

The housebuilder, who’ll soon unveil interim results for the six months to December 2020 on the 11th February, said they’d sold 951 homes during the period in early 2020, up from the first half total of 811 in 2019. That’s a 17% increase in the first half of the year.

It said ongoing demand for cheaper homes meant that it would “be at least in line with expectations” having weathered the pandemic.

In mid-2021 they’re set to be developing across 80 different sites.
